Greetings from The Aero Experience Team

Greetings!

The Aero Experience is a celebration of Midwest aviation and aerospace achievement. We invite you to join us as we explore the treasures of Midwest aviation through first-hand experiences. Our contributors take turns flying lead, and we are always looking for new destinations. Check in with The Aero Experience frequently to see where we will land today, and then go out and have your own aero experiences!

Blue skies,

Memorial for Parks College Graduate to be Held at St. Louis Downtown Airport Saturday

A memorial “Missing Man” fly-over in honor of Keavy Nenninger will be conducted this Saturday morning at approximately 10:30 a.m. with lunch to follow. The “Missing Man” pass will fly over the Parks College Hangar and will include 3 warbirds and 3 helicopters plus other aircraft flying over in mass. (Anyone interested in flying in the aerial salute is welcome and should notify Marsha Metteer hangarlady@sbcglobal.net or Melissa Goetz in advance and should arrive at the Parks Hangar by 9 a.m. to attend the pilot briefing.)

Please come and celebrate Keavy's life! Gather about 10 a.m. in the Parks College Hangar. Stay and mingle after the fly-over and enjoy a lunch of pulled pork and chips at noon with soda and water or you may BYOB. Donations will be collected to create a Parks College scholarship in Keavy's name.
