MO Aviation Historical Society and AC-119 Gunship Association Team Up for Nov. 5 Event

The Missouri Aviation Historical Society and the AC-119 Gunship Association will team up for a presentation by member Dr. Larry Elton Fletcher, veteran of 177 combat missions in SE Asia, and  the author of two books on gunship operations in Vietnam.  The event will take place at Logan College, at 1851 Schoettler Road, Chesterfield, MO 63017, 1:00pm.  Admission is free, and light refreshments will be provided.


The AC-119 Gunship Association, a national organization, is composed of former members of the 71st, 17th and 18th AC-119 Special Operations Squadrons.  It is dedicated to all who maintained, flew, and supported the AC-119G Shadow and AC-119K Stinger gunships during the Vietnam War.  Those who were involved with the AC-47 Spooky 3rd & 4th Air Commando Squadrons are also welcome to become members.  For more information, please visit http://www.ac-119gunships.com/welcome.htm.
