Fair St. Louis Airshow Performers Arrive at St. Louis Downtown Airport

Fair St. Louis Airshow performers arrived Monday at St. Louis Downtown Airport to prepare for Tuesday's practice session.  After a short flight from the airport, airshow routines are flown over the Mississippi River in front of the St. Louis Gateway Arch.  EAA's B-17 "Aluminum Overcast" arrived around 11:30am, followed by Rob Holland, John Klatt, Iron Eagles, Aeroshell Team, Golden Knights, John Mohr, and U.S. Marine Corps Harriers.  On Tuesday, practice sessions on the riverfront will be flown, and EAA will offer rides in its B-17.  Two airshows will be flown on Wednesday, including fly-bys of Brian "Brain" Kissinger's Sonerai homebuilt following his record-setting flight from St. Joseph to St. Louis.  Here are some scenes from today's arrivals:
