Recent Blue Angels Visit to Boeing St. Louis Facility Brings Hornets Back to Their Home

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels aerial demonstration team visited the Boeing St. Louis production facility last month, bringing their F/A-18C Hornets back to their birthplace. The team members toured the former McDonnell Douglas facility where the legacy Hornets were manufactured, and where the current Super Hornet and Growler aircraft continue to roll off the assembly lines. Relatedly, a monument to St. Louis aviation heritage and the Blue Angels currently resides at the St. Louis Science Center - F/A-18B Blue Angels No. 7.
