Special Announcement: The Aero Experience Unveils New Logo!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!

The Aero Experience announces a new logo that will appear on the web site and all marketing materials, including a new line of clothing that will appear later this summer.  After much discussion among our team and our graphic designer, we have something we really like, and captures the spirit of our mission.  Each aspect of the logo adds to the message we wish to publicly convey:

The colors: Red and White are traditional strong primary colors that stand out on most backgrounds, and with white symbolize the American spirit.  These colors work well with the logo of our new EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2013 sponsors, Air Associates of Missouri and Air Associates of Kansas

The Sweeping A: The Sweeping A emphasizes the "Aero" message, and flows well with our title, The Aero Experience.  The shape is likened to a swift jet aircraft, reminiscent of the Concorde supersonic transport and inspired by the jet featured on the classic McDonnell Douglas logo.

Catch Phrase:  Our catch phrase, "Celebrating Midwest Aviation," perfectly captures our mission of providing original aviation media from the Midwest USA for our world-wide audience.  Our team, based in the St. Louis area and operating from our base at the Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum, endeavors to continue expanding our reach throughout the Midwest Aviation community to include neighboring states and visits to out-of-area locales that contribute directly to our mission.  The shadowing on the fonts for all lettering reinforces the speed of the jet, and the speed of our growth!

Our logos are produced by Mr. Joe Gutknecht, a local design and commercial artist who also serves his community on several Boards of Directors, including the Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum.  His long-suffering patience with our new ideas and constant revisions is greatly appreciated, and our recommendation of his work to our audience cannot be overstated.

We hope you like our new logo, and look for it at a Midwest Aviation event near you!
