The Aero Experience contributor and U.S. Air Force Veteran Fred Harl was featured in the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2013 "AirVenture Today" daily newspaper (p.42) distributed to thousands of visitors on the grounds Saturday and now online. Harl served in active duty for four years, stationed at Langley AFB in Virginia, Kunsan AB in South Korea, and Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota. He also served 16 years in the Missouri Air National Guard 131st Tactical Fighter Wing at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. During those years, he developed his talents as a crack photographer and photo processor, and thankfully he has since joined The Aero Experience team.
