Variety of "Big Birds" Come Home to Roost at Chicago O'Hare International Airport

By Mark Nankivil
On a recent visit to the northeast Illinois area, a stop at Chicago O'Hare International Airport was high on the agenda.  A vital Midwest aviation gateway to the world, Chicago O'Hare International Airport supported nearly 75,000 aircraft operations involving about 411,000 passengers in September 2013 alone.  In just a short period, a variety of domestic and international flights arrived in aircraft types not seen at many domestic hub airports.  A mix of Boeing, Airbus and Embraer jets makes for a nice pictorial post!
