The Cape Girardeau Regional Air Festival Flashback: Air-to-Air With the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team

The Cape Girardeau Regional Air Festival is a staple of the Midwest airshow season, attracting top-tier airshow performers and display aircraft.  The Aero Experience was pleased to attend the last several Air Festivals and get to know the staff at Cape Girardeau Regional Airport, and we look forward to the next event featuring the Canadian Forces Snowbirds in May.  Prior to joining The Aero Experience, Fred Harl had a great opportunity to get an air-to-air session with the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team while flying in Bill Leff's AT-6G Texan at the 2006 Air Festival.  Here is a look back at that flight as we look forward to seeing our friends Bill Leff and the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team in 2014.
