Warm Winter Weekend Brings Variety of Aircraft to St. Louis Downtown Airport

Winter is settling over the heartland and Thanksgiving is now in the rear-view mirror. The St. Louis area experienced spectacular weather last weekend, bringing an interesting selection of home-based and transient aircraft to St. Louis Downtown Airport. The airport is the third busiest in Illinois, the site of the Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum, and home to Ideal Aviation and Jet Aviation FBOs. A wide variety of aircraft are based there as well, and it is also a popular stop for general aviation aircraft making cross-country flights.
