Looking Back at the Cape Girardeau Regional Air Festival: Rising to New Heights

The 2014 Cape Girardeau Regional Air Festival was a great Midwest Aviation event, featuring the opening of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds airshow season, precision parachute demonstrations by the U.S. Army Golden Knights and a variety of aerial performances by top-tier airshow performers.  Our fellow The Aero Experience Team member, Leo Cachat, arranged for flights in Matt Younkin's Beech C-18 and the Golden Knights' C-31A Troopship (click on the links for the previous posts by Leo Cachat following the event).  A number of warbirds were also on static display.  We will feature some of the scenes from the pre-show preparations and Leo's flights here on this look back post:
