The Aero Experience: EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2014: A New Season Begins

The Aero Experience is back!  You many have noticed we took a little time off from posting recently, but we are ready to resume our coverage of the great people and events of Midwest Aviation. This time of year is our All-Star Break, when Carmelo and Fred attend EAA AirVenture Oshkosh and Mark and Leo cover other regional events for later publication.  We had many opportunities from which to choose over these last few weeks, and these great feature stories will start to appear on this site in the near future. Our first very brief installment of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2014 coverage follows this short message.

The Aero Experience is primarily an advocate for Midwest Aviation, and we continue to present the positive aspects of this industry.  We know that there are plenty of detractors who shout loudly about negative issues like cost, political leadership and the environment, etc., so we don't need to take on that baggage. Again, we seek out those who make a positive impact on the aviation industry and society to present their stories.  Our style of creating original, first-hand reporting of Midwest Aviation activities in a digestible, photo-journalism format has found a growing interest from a diverse readership.  We are pleased to serve anyone from die-hard aviation gear-heads to those with only a passing interest in the current feature story.  We maintain a clear focus on Midwest Aviation, but also include forays into related issues and other geographic areas as our interest and travels allow.

We would like to thank those who have visited The Aero Experience and have spread the word - we are grateful to our ever-growing audience. We also thank those who have been part of our feature stories over the years - we hope our presentation has given credit to your accomplishments.
