The Aero Experience coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2014 airshow performers continues with The Aerostars, a three-plane formation team that is a staple of Midwest airshows. Their graceful formation flying and opposing pass maneuvers are flown by Harvey Meek, David Monroe and Paul Hornick in their Yak-52TW aerobatic trainers acquired new from the factory in Romania. The team also brought the Redbird Jay flight simulator that gives the visitor the chance to fly along with the Aerostars on the right wing position over Whitman Regional Airport.
