EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2014: Trojan Horsemen

Fred Harl and Carmelo Turdo
http://www.airassociatesmo.com/tae/The EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2014 airshow featured the rumbling radial engines and graceful, colorful formations of the Trojan Horsemen flying their six North American T-28 Trojan warbirds.  The team flies a mix of T-28s sporting a variety of paint schemes, representing military units and even a racing team.  The T-28 is an impressive aircraft on the flight line, towering over other single radial-engine trainers on its tall, tricycle landing gear and sporting a large three-bladed propeller.  It is even more awesome when six T-28s flown by such experienced and skilled pilots put on a smooth formation show.

There are more than six pilots available to fly in the Trojan Horsemen team at the various airshows, a few of which were featured by The Aero Experience in the past: Ralph "Skydoc" Glasser and Jerry "Jive" Kerby.  We also remember the Late Jack "Flash" Mangan.
