American Waco Club Begins Fly-In at Creve Coeur Airport

Waco aircraft from around the country are gathering with their locally-based brethren at the home of Midwest antique aircraft restoration, Creve Coeur Airport, for the American Waco Club 23rd Anniversary Fly-In. Today's visit to the airport began with a ride in an antique Ford Model T with Jimmy Johnson to see the Wacos already there. Some were in hangars due to winds and pending rain showers, but several were tied down in the grass: David and Jean Allen's blue with red trim Waco ASO, Richard Ash's white with blue trim Waco UPF-7, and John Ricciotti's one-of-a-kind black and gold Waco S3HD.
Be sure to see The Aero Experience coverage of Saturday's fly-out to Aero Estates Airport in Belleville, IL coming soon!
