The U.S. Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier II demo is sure to bring excitement to any airshow, and it did not disappoint the audience during the performances at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015. The vertical takeoff and landing attack jet has been a staple of the Marine Corps close air support fleet for over three decades, and has played an important role in U.S. military combat deployments from the Gulf War to the present. The Aero Experience celebrates the dedication of the U.S. Marine Corps to the defense of our nation and the ability of Americans to see the Harrier again at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015. The following sequence depicts the vertical takeoff and landing capability of the Harrier during a day and an evening performance:
