EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015: Airshow Performers - Unusual Jets: School Bus and Waco

Fred Harl and Carmelo Turdo
http://www.airassociatesmo.com/tae/The Aero Experience coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015 airshows continues with two unusual jet vehicles that have taken the aviation entertainment industry by storm - the Indy Boys Jet School Bus and the Jack Link's Screamin' Sasquatch Jet Waco.  Paul and Therese Stender travel the country performing in the Jet School Bus, Jet Outhouse, Jet (Snoopy) Doghouse and other assorted jet land vehicles.  Sporting a GE J79 jet engine like that used in the F-4 Phantom II fighter, the hand-crafted Jet Schoolbus can achieve speeds of over 350mph. The concussion from the shock wave has to be felt to be believed.  In the skies over Oshkosh, the Jack Link's Screamin' Sasquatch Jet Waco, flown by Jeff Boerboon, rises straight up in a plume of jet smoke.  The Waco 1929 Taperwing has been reborn into a hybrid radial and jet powered show plane that gives the crowd the best of both antique look and jet performance.  Both vehicles are featured here in the following photo essay:
