EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015: Exhibitors - All from A to B

Covering the exhibitors at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015 presents a difficult assignment - there are so many, they span a wide area of the grounds and are arranged in only a very general grouping of like products and services.  It is an interesting and worthy cause to pursue, though, to highlight the week's exhibits for those who attended and introduce exhibitor experience to those who were not there.  Through the rest of January, we will go through the remaining exhibitors roughly in alphabetical order, with a brief introduction to each and a link for further investigation as desired by the reader.  We hope you continue to enjoy The Aero Experience year-round coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015 and visit our Sponsor, Air Associates, for your flight training and aviation services needs. 

Aviat Aircraft

Aviat Aircraft, of Afton, WY, is the maker of the Husky A-1 pleasure and bush plane series along with the famous Pitts Special and Christen Eagle aerobatic biplanes.  They also promote their "reimagined" rebuilt Cessna 150/152 aircraft as a flying club aircraft in cooperation with AOPA.  Their exhibit area is known for having the Husky displayed on mounds of earth simulating off-airport operations.

BedeCorp Aircraft

BedeCorp, the current iteration of the famous Bede Aircraft Company, now offers the BD-4C, BD-17L and BD-6 aircraft kits.  These models are significantly more conventional than the previous offerings, such as the notorious BD-5J "microjet" and numerous prototypes that expanded the imagination of kit built aircraft design.  As seen in these photos, the red BD-5J and it's lovely pilot remain ageless.

    

Blackhawk Aerospace

Blackhawk Aerospace, the Waco, TX based aviation services company, specializes in turboprop engine upgrades (such as the Pratt & Whitney PT-6 engine on this Beech King Air C90B) that improve aircraft flight performance and lower maintenance costs.  Along with engine installation, optional upgrades include composite cowlings, new instrumentation and other improved hardware.  Blackhawk also sells a number of its modified aircraft.   

Boeing

The aerospace giant had their exhibitor tent on the edge of Boeing Plaza, where unique aircraft were displayed daily during the week.  The exhibit included displays of current commercial aircraft models, a 737 Max winglet and conference area.
