EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016: Stearman Flight Formation Flying

The Aero Experience resumes our coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016, sponsored by Air Associates, with this first of several stories featuring the Stearman Flight formation flying.  During the final weekend of activities, we captured some images of the four-ship Stearman Flight members John Rettick, John Ladley, David Burroughs and John Ockenfels flying in several formations after takeoff from the north runway near the Warbirds Area.  

Stearman Flight provides FAA-authorized Formation Flight Training and F.A.S.T. certification for Stearman pilots through flight clinics and adherence to an approved curriculum.  Experienced Stearman pilots take new members "under their wing" and provide the best formation flight training available.  The Aero Experience will provide more coverage of the Stearman Flight in the days ahead as we return to Creve Coeur Airport in St. Louis.
