EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2017: Airshows - Bomber Formations

The EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2017 airshows featured bomber formations with the current inventory and with warbirds.  Saturday's Bomber Day celebrated the 75th Anniversary of the 8th Air Force with a modern bomber formation that included the B-52H Stratofortress, B-2 Spirit and B-1B Lancer.  Warbirds were featured in an historic formation of the two remaining airworthy B-29 Superfortress bombers, Fifi and Doc, along with the B-17G Flying Fortress, Aluminum Overcast, and B-25 Mitchells among others.  Here we feature the modern bombers and the B-29s in their formations and solo passes.
