Big River Aviation Moves to Central Location,
Expands Services

St. Louis, MO; January 29, 2019
– Big River Aviation will begin
operations February 3 in a new, central location at the West Terminal of St.
Louis Downtown Airport, Cahokia, IL. The facility offers convenient access to Big
River Aviation and more hangar space to accommodate larger aircraft.
Big River Aviation provides
aircraft maintenance, aircraft rental and flight training services to the
aviation community. Aircraft inspections, repairs and avionics upgrades are performed
by highly experienced maintenance technicians. Big River Aviation’s Cessna 172
is available for rental, flight training and local flights. Learn to fly with
one of Big River Aviation’s certified flight instructors.
Big River Aviation’s owner
and FAA Authorized Inspector, Paul Voorhees, is eager to serve his customers at
the new location. “I am looking forward to better serving the aviation
community with the larger facility,” he said. “We will now have more space for
our maintenance staff to perform at their high level of expertise. We will
continue to offer the best possible service and customer care as we move
forward in the new location.”
Big River Aviation has served the aviation community since 2010 in
Missouri and Illinois in locations along the Mississippi River. Big River
Aviation was the only general aviation maintenance services provider at St.
Louis Regional Airport before moving to St. Louis Downtown Airport in 2017. Big
River Aviation also regularly inspects and maintains aircraft used by
humanitarian and missionary aviation organizations at their service locations
in North and South America.
Owner Paul Voorhees began his aviation maintenance
career in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1986, and then earned his Private Pilot,
A&P Mechanic and Inspection Authorization certificates shortly thereafter. The
Big River Aviation maintenance staff has decades of experience building and
maintaining aircraft, and they bring their expertise and personal service to
each customer.
