The
2019 Beech Party was held October 9-12 at the Beechcraft Heritage Museum in
Tullahoma, TN. Along with attracting some of the most classic aircraft ever
built, the three-day event provided Beechcraft owners with many opportunities
to enhance their flying skills and learn more about the operation of their
aircraft. Daily activities included aircraft type symposiums, technical
seminars, museum tours, book signings and of course formation flying
opportunities. The Beech Party is intended for owners of Beechcraft types, but
guests and owners of other aircraft types were also welcomed.
The
Aero Experience was on site to bring to you these images of the classic
Beechcraft and other aircraft types seen Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We thank the Beechcraft
Heritage Museum and all those who made this event a success for their
hospitality.
There were 11 Staggerwings, 11 Beech 18s
(one being an AT-11) and two Beech 50 Twin Bonanzas (nicknamed T-Bone) in attendance this year. One came all the way from Oregon! Here are some views of the aircraft we saw on Thursday and Friday:

Saturday morning's fly out
to the EAA Chapter 699 pancake breakfast in Winchester was a bust with a 500' cloud deck, but for us the drive back
to Tullahoma found blue skies over the airport and a 180 degree change in wind
direction for a different angle/opportunity to photograph the aircraft flying
that day. On Saturday afternoon, an impromptu formation of the Beech 18 and the King Air 200
happened - two passes together down the runway with the second being the better
of the two. The King Air also made a low
pass gear up and another gear down.
