EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019: Flying With Floats - Seaplane Review

The Aero Experience returns to our year-long coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019, sponsored by Elite Aviation, by continuing on the theme of amphibious float planes like those used by Samaritan Aviation in our previous story. During the Wednesday airshow, the lineup included a seaplane review featuring several models of amphibious aircraft flying from the Seaplane Base or from the airport. Leading the aerial parade was the Cessna U206F used by Samaritan Aviation, followed by a Cessna 182T from Wipaire (maker of Wipline floats), a Cessna 182R, Maule M-7-235, Aviat A-1B Husky, and a Lockwood Aircam. Also included here are several aircraft on display during the week, including a Waco Classic YMF-5C and Quest Kodiak 100 used by the U.S. Department of Interior.
