The Aero Experience resumes our coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019 airshows, sponsored by Elite Aviation, with a survey of these world-renowned performers flying the familiar Edge and Extra types in high-G, fast-turning maneuvers. The (Zivco) Edge and Extra lines of aerobatic aircraft have become the standard for high-performance airshow and aerobatic competition flying, and they continue to star in airshows around the world when flown by Bill Stein, Kevin Coleman, Michael Goulian and Patty Wagstaff. Here we feature their several airshow performances captured during the week of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019.Bill Stein flies an Edge 540 that appears to change colors as it reflects light at different angles throughout the airshow. He and Matt Chapman are also seen here signing autographs early in the week.
Kevin Coleman flies the Extra 300S for his airshow performances.
Michael Goulian flies the Extra 330SC in his airshows. He contributes to the advancement of aviation in many ways, and is always willing to stop for photos as shown here during several appearances during the week.
Patty Wagstaff continues her legendary career as airshow performer and aerobatic instructor flying the Extra 300 series. Here she is shown signing autographs and performing her signature inverted ribbon cut.
