EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019: Airshows - Trojan Thunder

The Aero Experience continues our year-round coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019, sponsored by Elite Aviation, with this look at the premier T-28 formation team, Trojan Thunder. The six team members fly their venerable T-28 trainers in formation and precision solo aerobatics, filling the sky with bold color, smoke and the noise from their radial engines that makes everyone take notice. If some of these  particular aircraft look familiar, it may be because we have photographed them in prior years at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh and other airshows and fly-ins in the Midwest.
