Piston Aviation Hosts Discovery Flight Day at Creve Coeur Airport

Piston Aviation hosted their first Discovery Flight Day of the year at Creve Coeur Airport on Saturday. Each Discovery Flight included a pre-flight inspection, pilot briefing, and the opportunity to get actual student flight experience with a Piston Aviation CFI. The unusually warm and sunny weather provided the backdrop for a fun day in and out of the cockpit. Piston Aviation gave ten Discovery Flights using the Bristell, Cherokee and Musketeer fleet aircraft, and three students will continue training towards their Private Pilot Certificate.

Here we feature a sample of the Discovery Flights given during the day, and the first one is with our friend Mandy Rivera who also volunteers with the Gateway Youth Aeronautical Foundation (GYAF) at the airport.
