Sightings: EAA's B-17 "Aluminum Overcast" Walkaround

The EAA's World War II era B-17 Flying Fortress "Aluminum Overcast" arrived at St. Louis Downtown Airport yesterday to prepare for public tours and flights around the St. Louis riverfront.  The plane's visit provides a great opportunity for young and old alike to get a feel for what it was like to fly bombing missions over Europe, albeit in a more modern setting.  Just in case you do not get to see it this week, here is a photo essay of the B-17 yesterday and in the rain this morning:
