EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2013: Warbirds - The Big Bombers

Fred Harl and Carmelo Turdo
http://www.airassociatesmo.com/tae/The Aero Experience continues our special series from EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2013, sponsored by Air Associates of Missouri and Air Associates of Kansas, with a collection of warbirds - the big bombers!  The classic U.S. bombers of World War II, the B-17 Flying Fortress, B-24 Liberator and B-29 Superfortress, were available for close inspection during the week.  We feature B-17G "Yankee Lady" from the Yankee Air Museum in Yspilanti, Michigan and B-24A "Diamond Lil" and B-29A Superfortress "Fifi" from the Commemorative Air Force B-29/B-24 Squadron in Addison, Texas.  These aircraft regularly tour the country when not in Oshkosh, and we encourage everyone to welcome the crews and support their efforts to preserve these aircraft.
