http://www.airassociatesmo.com/tae/The Aero Experience coverage of the static display aircraft in Boeing Centennial Plaza at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016 continues with the appearance of the McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle.  The jet was from the 122nd Fighter Squadron of the 159th Fighter Wing based at NAS JRB New Orleans.  The wing has deployed regularly in combat areas on recent years, and upgraded from F-15A to F-15C Eagles in 2006.  The wing serves the USNORTHCOM air defense mission.

The F-15C arrived on Monday morning and landed about 11:30am following several flybys over the runway.  The pilot, Major Ben "Evil" Cook, visited with the gathering crowd as the jet was positioned in the plaza.  He gave several informative talks by the aircraft during the week, and the Eagle was available for public access through Friday.
