This weekend's Midwest Ultralight/LSA Rendezvous at Tommy George's Lake Sangchris Air Park attracted a variety of ultralight, LSA and GA aircraft. The lower temperature and low humidity also brought some headwinds, enabling those of us who drove in to arrive comfortably before those who flew! Here are a few images from Saturday. Special thanks to the Gateway Area Ultralight Association who were my hosts for the event.

The Farmer's Insurance Zeppelin, Eureka, can be seen here at its mooring stand at St. Louis Downtown Airport. The airship is owned and operated by Airship Ventures.as a passenger ride service and advertising vehicle. Editor's Note: Airship Ventures ceased operations in September of 2012, and the airship was exported back to Germany.
