EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015: Airshow Performers - Beechcraft Bonanza and Mentor

The Aero Experience continues our coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015 airshows with another performer combo pack: Beechcraft stable-mates Bonanza and Mentor, flown by Jim Peitz and Julie Clark.  The planes they currently fly, the Beechcraft F33C Bonanza and T-34 Mentor, have a family history dating to the late 1940s when the original V-tail Bonanza series was introduced.  In the early 1950s, the Mentor trainer, a tandem cockpit development of the Bonanza, was accepted into U.S. and Allied armed forces and served until fully replaced by the T-6 Texan II in 2012.  In the following photo essay, we feature Jim Peitz flying a later model aerobatic F33C Bonanza and Julie Clark flying her beautiful T-34A Mentor during several airshows that week:

 

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015: Airshow Performers - Unusual Jets: School Bus and Waco

The Aero Experience coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015 airshows continues with two unusual jet vehicles that have taken the aviation entertainment industry by storm - the Indy Boys Jet School Bus and the Jack Link's Screamin' Sasquatch Jet Waco.  Paul and Therese Stender travel the country performing in the Jet School Bus, Jet Outhouse, Jet (Snoopy) Doghouse and other assorted jet land vehicles.  Sporting a GE J79 jet engine like that used in the F-4 Phantom II fighter, the hand-crafted Jet School Bus can achieve speeds of over 350mph. The concussion from the shock wave has to be felt to be believed.  In the skies over Oshkosh, the Jack Link's Screamin' Sasquatch Jet Waco, flown by Jeff Boerboon, rises straight up in a plume of jet smoke.  The Waco 1929 Taperwing has been reborn into a hybrid radial and jet powered show plane that gives the crowd the best of both antique look and jet performance.  Both vehicles are featured here in the following photo essay.
