EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015: Airshow Performers - USMC Harrier Demo Team

http://www.airassociatesmo.com/tae/The U.S. Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier II demo is sure to bring excitement to any airshow, and it did not disappoint the audience during the performances at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015.  The vertical takeoff and landing attack jet has been a staple of the Marine Corps close air support fleet for over three decades, and has played an important role in U.S. military combat deployments from the Gulf War to the present. 

The Aero Experience celebrates the dedication of the U.S. Marine Corps to the defense of our nation and the ability of Americans to see the Harrier again at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015.  The following sequence depicts the vertical takeoff and landing capability of the Harrier during a day and an evening performance:

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015: Airshow Performers - Gyro Air Displays

http://www.airassociatesmo.com/tae/The audience at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh was treated to a great variety of airshow performers, and one of the more unusual was the Gyro Air Displays Calidus 914 autogyro flown by Peter Davies.  Davies put the Calidus through its paces twice during the week, showing off the autogyro's maneuverability through a series of passes trailing billowing white airshow smoke. The following sequence shows some highlights of the two performances:
