Scott AFB Airshow Display Aircraft, Featuring the Snowbirds
Scott AFB held its annual airshow September 19-20, 2009. Fortunately, I attended the show on Saturday the 19th and was able to see the Snowbirds perform (Sunday was a rain-out). The F-4 Phantom II was a big hit, along with the Snowbirds.

It is dedicated to all men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces, and the aircraft contains the name of Major Julius V. Santschi of Festus, MO. You can get decent pictures at some angles over the fence. There are also other monuments to veterans around the building.
