June General Aviation (and More!) Survey

By The Aero Experience Team
The Aero Experience looks back on June 2020 with this General Aviation (and More!) Survey. Here we present a collection of the general aviation and other aircraft we encountered during our visits to cover stories at Creve Coeur Airport and Farmington, MO Regional Airport. We hope that you will enjoy this photo essay, and we look forward to more activity as general aviation makes a strong recovery in the near future.

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019: Warbirds - Cessna and Beechcraft Twins

The Aero Experience continues our coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019, sponsored by Elite Aviation, with this look at two classic twins. The first example, a 1943 UC-78C light personnel transport, is named Class of '43 and is regularly featured in our warbirds coverage. The second aircraft, a Beechcraft AT-11 Kansan named Tantalizing Takeoff, is a bombardier trainer version of the multi-role Beech Model 18 series. Both types gave valuable service in support of the Allied Forces during World War II, and many served in post-war secondary military service missions and in civilian training and transport roles for decades thereafter.
