Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum Helps Scouts Earn Aviation Merit Badge

The Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum helped area Scouts earn their Aviation Merit Badge today. Here are some images from the day's activities:

American Legion Leighton Evatt Post 365 in Collinsville, IL features memorials to service members, including a Bell AH-1S Cobra and 155mm howitzer in excellent condition.  Special thanks to Post Commander Bob Graham for his hospitality and willingness to show AE the aircraft.

Boeing Receives IEEE Milestone in Electrical Engineering and Computing for the Mercury Spacecraft in Ceremony Today

Boeing received the IEEE Milestone in Electrical Engineering and Computing for the Mercury Spacecraft in a ceremony today at the St. Louis Campus Building 100 Prologue Room.  The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a non-profit, professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation related to electricity, and recognizes the advancements made by the Mercury Spacecraft team in the areas of navigation and control systems, including fly-by-wire.
