Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum Receives Donated OQ-19D Target

The Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum has taken delivery of a Radioplane (Northrop) OQ-19D target donated by Rainy and Carol Bell of Belleville, IL. The OQ-19D was still crated and was in very good condition considering its approximate 50 years of age.  It will be refurbished, supplied with an engine and propeller, and displayed in the museum at the St. louis Downtown Airport in Cahokia, IL in the near future.

Really nice artifact. Considering the amazing condition it should be a fairly easy restoration. I'm sure it will really look sharp when done.
