Boeing Recognizes Veterans at St. Louis Facility

By Carmelo Turdo
The Boeing Company recently recognized military veterans at a ceremony near the Boeing St. Louis Employee Veterans Honor Wall at its St. Louis Defense, Space and Security Headquarters.  The annual Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony featured Boeing employee presenters, music by the Boeing Employee Musical Club, a bagpiper from the St. Louis Caledonian Pipe Band and bald eagles from the World Bird Sanctuary.  The program was opened by Mr. Dave Thomas, USMC veteran and Boeing Veterans Task Force Lead.  Speakers included Mr. Michael Gibbons, VP F/A-18 and EA-18 Programs and Mr. Josh Scroggins, USMC veteran and Final Assembly Manager, F/A-18 Program.  Boeing St. Louis also holds recognition ceremonies for Memorial Day in May and POW/MIA Recognition Day in September.  For more information about the Boeing Veterans Task Force, please visit http://www.boeing.com/special/veterans/.  Here are some scenes from this year's Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony last week:
