American Waco Club Fly-In Includes Fly-Out to Aero Estates
By Carmelo Turdo
Members of the American Waco Club, currently participating in their national Fly-In this weekend at Creve Coeur Airport in St. Louis County, made the traditional early morning flight to nearby Aero Estates Airport in Belleville, Illinois Saturday to get their "hundred-dollar donut." The event, hosted by Waco pilot Mark Harter, brings a host of Waco, Stearman, Great Lakes and other aircraft out to the private airfield community for food and fellowship. The Aero Experience was privileged to be on hand to record the aircraft as they visited and get to know some of the crews. Special thanks go to Mark Harter and Ken Kellogg for their hospitality and invitations to participate in this year's Fly-Out to Aero Estates.
