Fair St. Louis Airshows featured several warbirds, one of which was the Vought F-4U-5 Corsair flown by one of its owners, Dave Folk. The Corsair was part of the 2011 Fair St. Louis Airshow, and it was great to have the huge World War II era fighter back in the lineup. The Corsair is unmistakable, with its inverted gull wings, large propeller and throaty chugging sound of its 18-cylinder Pratt & Whitney R2800 Double Wasp radial engine. The Aero Experience team enjoyed visiting with Dave Folk, and we were able to capture his performance over St. Louis Downtown Airport:
