Greetings from The Aero Experience Team

Greetings!

The Aero Experience is a celebration of Midwest aviation and aerospace achievement. We invite you to join us as we explore the treasures of Midwest aviation through first-hand experiences. Our contributors take turns flying lead, and we are always looking for new destinations. Check in with The Aero Experience frequently to see where we will land today, and then go out and have your own aero experiences!

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016: Experimental Aircraft - Strange Shapes

Fred Harl and Carmelo Turdo
http://www.airassociatesmo.com/tae/EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016 attracted a wide variety of experimental aircraft, some of which, like the Rutan designs previously featured, can be described as having "strange shapes."  Of course the physics of flight still apply to all aircraft, but the appearance of the aircraft show how different shapes can take advantage of the lift and power available for each design.
