EAA Chapter 64 held a Young Eagles flying event at St. Louis Downtown Airport Monday, taking advantage of a break from the rainy weather plaguing
the Midwest in recent days. EAA Chapter 64 Young Eagle pilots flew members of the St. Claire County Christian Home Educators group in three Cessna 172s. The flights
were staged from the Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum, located in
historic Curtiss-Wright Hangar 2 on the west apron. Tours of the museum were given between flights.
