 |
By Carmelo Turdo |
The
Aero Experience returned to Creve Coeur Airport Thursday evening, home to a variety of general aviation, vintage and warbird aircraft types. The concrete runway 16/34 is
75' x 4500', and the turf runway 7/25 that is 220'
x 3120'. The airport is host to the
annual American Waco Club Fly-In, Monocoupe Club Fly-In,
Stearman Flight, the Historic Aircraft Restoration Museum and the meetings
of the Missouri Aviation Historical Society. During our twilight visit, we saw our friends at Gateway Flight Training and the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation Gateway Chapter.
