Elite Aviation Resumes Flight Training Under State Re-Opening Plan

By Carmelo Turdo

Elite Aviation is implementing their plan to resume flight training this week from the West Terminal of Spirit of St. Louis Airport. Certified flight instructors are ready for current students to return to training, with new students and test flight customers returning in two weeks. Special check-in procedures and aircraft sanitation practices will be employed for the safety of Elite Aviation customers. Those current pilots needing a bi-annual flight review or aircraft rental are invited to contact Elite Aviation for assistance.

Elite Aviation, an authorized Cessna Pilot Center, offers a comprehensive flight training program in the St. Louis area while providing a personalized approach to learning. Flight training is a continuous process, building on the skills and knowledge demonstrated at each level of achievement. Recurrent, instrument and complex aircraft training are also available using the Elite Aviation fleet of Cessna 172 Skyhawks, Piper Turbo Saratoga, and the Elite RC1 and full-motion Redbird MCX flight simulators. Elite Aviation is a PSI Computer-Aided Testing Service test center for airman, A&P mechanic and the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Drone Knowledge Test exams.

The Elite Aviation fleet is also available for rental, and the aircraft are cared for by the Elite Aircraft Maintenance Service team. Elite Aviation provides comprehensive maintenance services for piston-engine aircraft and coordinates the work needed for inspections, airframe and powerplant repair, engine overhaul, avionics and ADS-B upgrades, oxygen service and preventive/seasonal maintenance so important for safe and legal operation of aircraft. The customer relationship is of the utmost importance, and Elite Aviation stands behind the quality of their maintenance services.

The Aero Experience recently produced this video highlighting the services provided by Elite Aviation, including flights aboard two of the late-model Cessna Skyhawks. Also featured are the Redbird MCX full-motion simulator and Elite Aircraft Maintenance Service.
