Gateway Flight Training Adds Instructors, Prepares for Fleet Expansion in New Year

By Carmelo Turdo
Gateway Flight Training continues to grow at their Creve Coeur Airport location with additional staff and aircraft coming online this winter and into the new year. Increased activity around the hangar continues to produce more training flights with the Piper Warriors along with preparations to launch several additional aircraft in the near future. The Beechcraft Debonair is now available for instrument and high performance training, and next year the Cessna 172RG complex aircraft and multi-engine Cessna 310 will also join the fleet. Gateway flight Training also utilizes the Redbird MCX three-axis simulator provided by Alpha Flight Simulation at Spirit of St. Louis Airport for instrument training and currency.

Here we feature a training flight departure last week, Tyler McDaniel's solo flight on Tuesday and preparations for another student's night training flight that evening.
