Piston Aviation
held a special St. Patrick's Day Discovery Flight Event at their second location, St. Louis Regional Airport, on Saturday. This week also marks the first anniversary of the new flight training center located in the previous restaurant space next to the air traffic control tower across from the F-4 Phantom jet on display in the main parking area. Twenty discovery flights were given using the Bristell and Viper LSAs and two Piper Cherokees flown by staff Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs). This newly-renovated facility offers closer access for flight students from the northern Metro-East Illinois area.
