2025 Midwest Aviation Expo Survey - Expanded Coverage

The Seventeenth Annual Midwest Aviation Expo was held September 4-6 at Mount Vernon, IL Outland Airport. A variety of light sport aircraft brands were on exhibit, including the Bristell 912 and the Tomark Aero Viper provided by our sponsor, Piston Aviation. Other attractions included the Junkers A50 Junior Rotax-powered 95% replica and TL Sport Aircraft Sirius BackCountry and Sparker aircraft. Many of the exhibitors included traditional Light Sport Aircraft brands, while others represented new options for the upcoming MOSAIC rules that allow larger, heavier and more complex aircraft. 

Mount Vernon Outland Airport is a great venue for the Midwest Aviation Expo, offering a central location, plenty of apron space for exhibitors and fly-ins, the renowned Bonnie Cafe restaurant and a friendly corps of volunteers who make everyone feel welcome. The Aero Experience was privileged to be a media sponsor for this year's event, and our coverage continues with this expanded survey in preparation for a series of posts and videos coming over the next several months.
