Air Associates Alpha Pilot Academy Includes Commercial Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Services

By Carmelo Turdo
Air Associates, the premier Midwest Cessna Pilot Center and aviation services provider, continues to offer top-quality flight training at its Olathe, KS location.  The flight training program, called Alpha Pilot Academy, embodies the best practices of the pilot training profession and helps make learning to fly a practical goal for young and old alike.

The Alpha Pilot Academy offers flight training packages to fit just about anyone's schedule and budget.  A First Flight option gives an opportunity to get into the air possibly for the first time.  The Pilot Quick Start package offers the student pilot a series of five lessons leading up to a supervised local flight.  A student pilot can continue flight training to obtain Sport, Private, Instrument, Certified Flight Instructor and multi-engine certifications using the modern Cessna fleet and leading-edge Redbird full-motion simulators.  For those seeking a professional pilot degree, Air Associates provides flight training as an affiliate to Kansas State University.

Alpha Pilot Academy now offers commercial Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) services to individuals and businesses that need to collect aerial imagery for authorized purposes, including:

·         Marketing of products and services
·         Inspection of buildings or equipment
·         Photography and video production projects

·         other related business activities

Air Associates Alpha Pilot Academy provides these services according to FAA regulations for commercial UAS operators, and is ready to contribute to your next aerial imagery project.  Contact Alpha Pilot Academy today for details.

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016: Exhibitors - Set up and Sunday Exit

Fred Harl and Carmelo Turdo
http://www.airassociatesmo.com/tae/The Aero Experience continues our year-round coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016, sponsored by Air Associates, with our first story in the series featuring the major exhibitors.  This photo essay shows some of the initial setup on the weekend prior to Monday's opening, and also the departure of display aircraft on the final Sunday.  The exhibits are under construction and undergoing landscaping through the weekend and late into the evening before Monday's opening day, and bargain hunters can still get some good free samples from exhibitors on closing Sunday.  We will continue to visit individual product and service displays throughout January.

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016: Around the Grounds

Fred Harl and Carmelo Turdo
http://www.airassociatesmo.com/tae/The Aero Experience continues our signature year-round coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016, sponsored by Air Associates, with another look around the airport grounds as we prepare next month's series on the many exhibitors we visited.  Featured here are the more prominent sites, including the main gate, control tower, Brown Arch and the dedication of the Ron Scott Communications Center.  Also conspicuous around the grounds are the VW Beetles driven by EAA staff, the "Scooter Guys" who guide the aircraft watch the airshow line and an occasional sea gull looking for scraps at the A&W food stands.  We hope you have enjoyed our coverage so far and will check back for our coverage of the exhibitors in January.
