The Aero Experience continues our coverage of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019, sponsored by Elite Aviation, with a look at the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II jets on static display in Boeing Plaza during the week. The jets attracted large crowds during their appearances in the plaza, and there were security personnel stationed along the rope line. F-35A serial number 12-5043, from the 61st FS at Luke AFB, AZ, was on display Tuesday through Friday; F-35C bureau number 169601, from VMFA-314 at MCAS Miramar, CA, was on display Saturday and Sunday.

off site from public access. Through special permission, we are able to show
the movement of the aircraft used in the Heritage Flights and awaiting their
slot for display in Boeing Plaza. Here we feature the latest U.S. tactical
airpower – the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II. Included here is the arrival
of the U.S. Navy’s F-35C on Friday evening.
