Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum Showcases Area Aviation History

The Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum is one of those hidden gems of the St. Louis area.  The museum, housed in historic Curtiss-Wright Hangar 2 at St. Louis Downtown Airport (Cahokia, IL), showcases aviation artifacts with ties to this great aviation region.  Staffed mostly by volunteers, the museum is committed to the preservation and display of historic air and space vehicles and artifacts as well as providing educational programs to foster the spirit of flight in today's youth and in future generations.  We highly encourage our readers to visit and give generously to this worthy endeavor.  Here is a taste of what you will experience.  For more information, go to http://www.airandspacemuseum.org/index.html.
