Farmington, MO Regional Airport Visit Reveals Hidden Treasures

By Carmelo Turdo
Farmington Regional Airport, located about 80 miles south of St. Louis, provides essential aviation services to the surrounding communities and is a place containing hidden treasures.  The recently constructed administration/terminal building and hangars attract aviators and business such as Arch Air Medical Service and Mac-Air.  During our visit, an Arch Eurocopter EC-130B4 arrived and Mr. Larry McCormick welcomed us to Mac-Air to see his Globe GC-1B in vintage U.S. Navy colors.  Special thanks to contributor Fred Harl for being our guide during the visit.
