EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2014: Scott Yoak and P-51 Quick Silver

There is nothing quite like a P-51 Mustang airshow performance, and EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2014 featured Scott Yoak with his P-51D "Quick Silver."  The Mustang is the creation of Scott's father, Bill Yoak, who passed away in 2013.  A master of metal crafting and aviation mechanics, he assembled "Quick Silver" from the remnants of over 200 other Mustangs to better than new quality.  The aircraft won Grand Champion at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2007, and many other Mustangs have the handiwork of Bill Yoak to continue his legacy.  Scott Yoak continues to celebrate the family tradition of bringing Mustangs to the public, and The Aero Experience presents this sequence from last year's airshow:
